Darel had a great day yesterday. He went with Doug to deliver a load of posts to a fence job on the coast. The house was so peaceful and quiet with no TV I decided to take a little nap. Slept two and a half hours. Warmer temperatures and no wind meant I was back on an every three hours schedule with the greenhouse fires.
Yesterday Gilbert made a place for a pallet of soil that is coming Monday. He moved some more snow in hopes that the main load can come in two weeks rather than the 22ed. He opened up to the Quonset hut so we can get baskets and planters. And part way to the hoop house and little greenhouse, as far as his tractor would fit. I'lll have to open up the rest of the way with my little tractor. it would have taken me forever to open up as far as he did. Brian shoveled off the outside wood pile and the East side of the greenhouse. Now the creeping phlox are back in the sun. He also shoveled out the hose hook up. Some day it will warm up enough to leave the hose out again. Tonight Lil Andrew will work on the west side of the greenhouse. There is a lot of snow there! With Andrew and Gayle due home Lil Andrew has been shoveling out their place.
Debbie is going to transplant celery and some flowers today. Celery is a slow job. I'm hoping to get some more seeds planted. One box is coming today, mostly impatiens. I have a second round of impatiens seeds planted. Darel is going to want to go to the dinner at church.
Have a good day, Sally
