A quiet day yesterday. Late afternoon I put wood on the fires and we went to a church class, getting home just in time to put wood on the fires again.
Less wind and not quite as cold tonight will equal a little more sleep.
With all the snow piles there is no place to put my order of bagged soils and compost so i put it off until April 22. The piles of snow are 10/12 feet high. I'm getting in some bales of promix for people starting seeds or thinking of an early start Monday. Gilbert wants his blueberry fertilizer early, he's thinking positive that the snow will go fast once it starts to go. I also put in an order for some pretty pots for containers. We won't be planting pansies in the ground for awhile.
Pepper plants are coming up, I'll be planting seeds about every day. It looks like the weather will be right for moving into the cold frames to make room. If the snow melts of the cold frames. And melts enough so we can repair the damage done by the last storm to the hoop house. For today Andrew is going to start shoveling enough snow away from the main greenhouse so there is light on the floor for the perennials. And brian is going to shovel off the outside wood pile. We are burning lots of wood!
Have a good day, Sally
