2/19/18
A new day with new opportunities to make a difference.

21 degrees, some clouds with a light SW breeze.  A Sw wind today, showers this afternoon with a high of 43 and a low of 34.  A gentle NE breeze tomorrow with showers, a high of 40 and a low of 34. A WSW breeze Wednesday with morning clouds/afternoon sun, a high of 57 and a low of 25. Mostly cloudy Thursday with a NNW breeze, a high of 36 and a low of 17.  Afternoon snow showers Friday with a SSE breeze, a high of 35 and a low of 31.  Rain/snow showers Saturday with a WNW breeze, a high of 40 and a low of 24.  Cloudy Sunday with an ENE breeze, a high of 36 and a low of 29. Morning rain/snow next Monday with a NNW breeze, a high of 40 and a low of 24. Lots of clouds the next week with stiff NW breeze, highs in the high thirties, Lows slowly climbing from from a low of 20 next Tuesday to a low of 28 Monday, the 4th.
Friday's "event" has slowed Darel done a bit but we went to Sunday School and church with no problem.  Caring people in church are always ready to help him get to his feet.  Once he is on his feet he is slow but gets where he is going.
We had a wonderful 3 inches of wet snow Saturday night.  the kids run and slide on the ice underneath, plowing snow.  Me, now I can walk anywhere in the sticky snow without spikes. So nice!  I'm still walking on top of the drifts to feed the birds.
After my Sunday nap I did a bit in the greenhouse, then came in and watered plants.  Watering plants takes quite a bit of time now. My geraniums look so pretty blooming in the windows but they take lots of water.  Little seedlings take lots of water too.  But they need watered slowly and gently.
     Have a good day, Sally
