At the end of the day tell yourself gently: "I love you, you did the best you could and even if you didn't accomplish all you planned I love you anyway."

Darel had a very quiet day yesterday, napping a lot. After a restless night he is still sleeping. He is planning to go to the dinner at church today. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Lexi is subbing today so nicole will stay with Darel until she gets home. If i get in and out of the doctors fast enough I'm going to the church to go over nativity costumes.
With the new snow I couldn't throw seeds on the ground so i chipped the ice from the feeders and filled them. I did put some seeds under the fir trees for the juncos. When they drink the go to the thickest part of the fir tree and hop throug the branches to drink in the most protected spot. The finches like the other side where it is open. Last night after the snow stopped I used a metal shovel to make sure the horse barn door opens easily. At least enough snow has been mixed with the ice so walking hasn't been bad.
Several presents are wrapped. I'm hoping to get a few more done even though today is busy. One more day and the days start getting longer, slowly, but in the right direction. It is also the day I plant some flowers. A lady who is going to work for me called to wish me merry Christmas and find out what day in February I would want her to start work. I'm hoping that since we are having winter now we'll have spring when we should. My subject line comes from Debbie who is going to help me too.
Have a good day, Sally.
