Yesterday was one of the lower spots on the roller coaster.   Darel could get to his feet without help but it took him awhile.  He was comfortable and slept a lot.  I question if we will try to go to church.
A few bluejays came to the feeders.  I'm thinking the weather change will bring more birds.  My sister has caught four skunks in her live traps, right in the middle of Dover Foxcroft!  No one in the family has gotten a deer yet.  Cleaning up after the storm has interfered with hunting.  There are still some people without power.
My herbs and some of the ground covers were still on the benches Monday.  I spent some time yesterday picking them up off the ground and fixing them.  The lavender and rosemary are in the house.  Some are upstairs, some are downstairs on warm sunny sills so they will grow enough this winter for me to slip them.  Usually I move some plants in earlier so they can be slipped sooner.  Gilbert finished cleaning up the mess from the pine tree.  mike bought me some wood for the front stove in the greenhouse from the trees he is cleaning up around town.  It will be pretty well seasoned by the end of  February when I start the stoves.
     Have a good day, Sally
