Thanks to the generator and sons that kept it full of gas we were comfortable.  Darel was very glad to have TV again when the power came on.  The swelling went down in his feet.  Now he has swelling on one side of his face.  Two days of normal pulse, two days of very low on one side and high on the other.  Nothing new!
We lost a large section of the big pine tree.  It took out the swing set but thankfully nothing was parked with in its reach.  Gilbert took many truck loads of wood up to his boiler.  There is still lots of little brush to clean up.  It took out the internet and phone line to the shop.
I had no way of reaching Dan so he didn't work this week.  LaGrange road wasn't open for awhile so he couldn't get here anyway.  He'll be here today, there is inside work to do when it starts raining.  He'll put the roses in the barn with dryer sheets in each plant.  When it starts to rain he'll cover them with hay.  Flower boxes are still blooming but today we will put the begonias down cellar and dump the others.  I haven't been able to do anything outside this week with no phone.  Darel couldn't push 4 on the landline phone to make my cell phone ring.  He just got up.  It si always good when he sits up without help and his voice is good.  Some mornings that isn't the way it is.
Yesterday I called Jolly Farmer.  they assured me I would get my discount even though my order wasn't sent in by the 31st.  They said they hadn't heard from many Maine customers.  I was going to send it snail mail if we hadn't gotten internet back. Making out the order means planning all the spring flowers, a pleasant job.
      Have a good day, Sally
