11/13/17
To make a difference in someone's life you don't have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect.  You just have to care.

Some clouds, calm and 20 degrees. Cloudy today with a light west breeze, a high of 41 and a low of 26.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a NNE breeze, a high of 41 and a low of 26.  Sunny Wednesday with a light NNE breeze, a high of 41 and a low of 29.  Steady rain Thursday morning, light rain afternoon with a SW breeze, a high of 42 and a low of 28 Thursday night with strong NW breezes.  partly cloudy Friday with NW winds, a high of 36 and a low of 20.  Rain/snow showers Saturday, perhaps an inch  Saturday afternoon with a brisk SE breeze, a high and low of 38.   Showers Sunday morning with a stiff WSW breeze, a high of 49 and a low of 26.  Partly cloudy next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with mostly west breezes, highs around forty and lows in the low twenties.  Rain/snow Thanksgiving day.  Snow showers through the weekend, highs in the thirties and lows in the twenties with brisk NW breezes each day.
Darel had a good day.  He got a little shakily because he stood up for some of the hymns but was able to stand at the end of the service with just my help.  We went to town late yesterday afternoon. Some of the lights on our cross needed to be replaced.   Last night he and Gilbert watched the Pat's game.  I suspect he'll be doing some napping today.  Darel likes the cross lit up all year, says it makes a statement about us.
I cut Brussel sprouts yesterday,  We had planned to try them last night.    Lunch today.  They look ok.
Two days on the road has left my house in shambles.  And my plants aren't put in place yet.  I want to wash the fly specks off the windows before I fill them with plants.
Back when we had cows the electric company said we had to have two meters so they could charge us commercial rates for the dairy.  Andrew wants to hook up a generator to come on with the flip of a switch that powers everything so I'm not out running cords in all kind of weather.  Today i'm going to try to convince the company that we should only have one meter.  Wish me luck!
       Have a good day, Sally
