Doug and Nicole went with us for Darel's Veteran's Day dinner. He does enjoy eating out!
Between bring so many house plants in, all the mess with the plants bought in to go down cellar and not being in the house it took me all morning to clean off the island. I still have a lot to do for the house plants but I also have a lot to do outside. And mulching if the hay isn't froze. The Brussel sprouts haven't been cut yet. It went from no frost to freeze so fast. I am glad i pulled the annuals and dumped the planters even though the flowers were still blooming.
Our pellet stove is working fine. We have it on low so it appears to go out at times which made us read the book and consult Andrew. When the pellet stove is going the front room is warm and the kitchen stove burns less wood. Darel was afraid the room would be too hot but it is perfect. From comments on Facebook quality of pellets makes a big difference in how well the stove runs. Several people said get your pellets from RJHeating, a little more expensive but you won't have problems. That is local for us so that is where we got our pellets. I was very glad to read that RJ was the best place to get them!
We are planning on church today so I need to get breakfast and get Darel ready. Enjoy your day, Sally
