Be grateful to be alive and look forward to where ever the Lord leads us today.

60 degrees, clear with a light west breeze.  Sunny, a west breeze today with a high of 73 and a low of 48.  Some cloudy tomorrow with a west breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 37.  Patly cloudy Saturday, possibly a shower at night with a SSW breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 57.  a slight chance of a showers Sunday morning, a strong SSW breeze, with a high of 80 and a low of 52.  Sunny Monday  with a SSW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 61.  Rain on Tuesday with a SSW breeze, a high of 72 and a low of 55.  How much rain depends on what is left of the hurricane striking the gulf coast is left when it gets here.  Rain, partly cloudy?? Wednesday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 43.  We need that rain.  The forecast for the next several days is pleasant and dry with WNW breezes, highs in the sixties and lows around 40.

     Another quiet day.  The hospice Chaplin came.  She always does a Bible study which Darel very much enjoys.

     Doug bought over a load of wood that made the poor truck groan,  wood little Andrew had split up.  Last night little Andrew came up and unloaded half, he'll come unload and stack the rest tonight.  I had cleaned out the area of the garage to wood goes in yesterday morning.  All the bark, chips and dirt from last year's wood.

     The cook range was smoking yesterday so Andrew cleaned the chimney.  I really hadn't wanted to clean the chimney because the ladder had to go in the middle of the cosmos.  As it turned out I could have waited, a strong south breeze seems to blow the smoke back down the chimney.  But I wanted to be sure.

      We have to have a new outlet put in for the pellet stove.  An outlet we've needed to replace for some time so I'm glad it needs to be done.  Andrew has to talk to Gayle's cousin, who installs pellet stoves, about a fresh air intake. Often people who have trouble with pellet stoves haven't installed them right.  With some brands the warranty is voided if the stove isn't professionally installed.  I checked that before i bought this one.
