10/21/17
Everything happens for a reason. There is change.  Sometimes it is hard.  Sometimes it hurts.   But it is for the best.

Darel is still struggling to get to his feet from the "events" of the night before last.  I asked if I should put the belt on him to help this morning, he said"I don't think so.  Let me try more."  Not the empathic no I've been hearing.  He is able to talk, he spoke well when company was  here.  But he whispers a lot when just talking to me.  I have to go get a prescription today, we'll see if he has trouble getting in the truck.
My brave morning glories with their blackened tops are still putting out blooms.  The blue ones that climb the shop wall wasn't touched.  the blue blooms against the red building are glowing in the early morning light.
The perennials are all ready to be tucked in for winter.  But I don't see any weather report that says "It's time" yet.  The roses aren't in the barn yet either.  We'll do that next Friday regardless of the weather.  We'll probably plant the garlic too.  It is too warm for the wreath makers to start tipping.  Next week's rain should help the greens last longer.  And size up the Brussel sprouts.
I have a long "want to do" list why this weather is nice.  Have a good day, Sally
