Having a place to go is a home.  Having someone to love is a family.  Having both is a Blessing.

Calm, clear and 35 degrees.    Sunshine today with a SE breeze, a high of 62 and a low of 47 tonight.  Cloudy tomorrow, showers tomorrow night.  A SW breeze with a high of 67 and a low of 54.  Showers Sunday morning, overcast during the day with a SW wind, a high of 69 and more showers Sunday evening with a SW wind and a low of 48.  Sunny Monday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 54 and freezing Monday night with a low of 31.  Sunny Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with brisk NW breezes, highs from 53 Tuesday to 68 Thursday, lows in the high thirties.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a west breeze, a high of 67 and a low of 40.  Pleasant next weekend and showers the week of the 23rd.

       Another pleasant day even though it started out with Darel's pulse at 41.  These 2 AM "events" are un nerving but he bounces back each day.  We took his application for a permit to hunt from the pickup to the doctor to have her part filled out.  Doug has planted a deer food plot  close to the house for Darel to sit in.

       Daniel and I put away the Griffin order.  We spent the rest of the day weeding perennials and the aisles.  As we weeded the perennials we placed them for winter covering.  It is amazing how mixed up they can get during the summer.  Some perennials I had already done had little dandelions in so I had to reweed them.  Those dandelions will live through the winter!

        I have several plants of Chocolate Joe Pye weed for left.  Another name for it is snake root.  The other name for regular Joe Pye Weed is Queen of the Meadow.  It sells faster when i call it Queen of the Meadow.  Would the Chocolate sell faster if I called it Snakeroot?  It is such a pretty plant and so attractive to butterflies when it blooms.
