9/3/17
Accept what is, Let go of what was, Have Faith in tomorrow.

Partly cloudy, calm and 48 degrees.  Showers with a strong SE breeze. and 66 degrees this afternoon,  Rain and wind tonight, thunder possible.  Mostly sunny tomorrow with a stiff west breeze, a high of 74 and a low of 60.  Afternoon thunderstorms Tuesday  with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 59.  Thunderstorms Wednesday with a NNE breeze, a high of 66 and a low of 58.  Rain Thursday with a NNW breeze, a high of 66 and a low of 55.  Morning showers Friday with a north breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 54.  Pleasant next weekend with highs about 70, mostly west breezes and lows about f0.  Pleasant  Monday, the 11th, and Tuesday, the 12th, with mostly north breezes, highs about 76 and lows about 53.  The rest of that week is forecast to be pleasant but cooler with highs about 70 and lows in the upper forties.  Hurricane Irma is still to far out in the Atlantic to know how she might affect our forecast.
Darel made some great progress getting to his feet and moving with the walker.  And sitting back down gently. He still isn't going any distance but yesterday was very encouraging for him.  Andrew is taking us to church today.
Lots and lots of beautiful pumpkins but they all still have flecks of green on them.  I'm hoping the warmer temperatures this week will ripen them.  Lots of pretty gourds too, they aren't ripe either.  Some field tomatoes are ripe, I'm hoping to pick them before the rain starts.  My pumpkins and tomatoes ere planted very late.  Today i move to the Alisha Craig onions.  They are a sweet very large onion that will keep until December.  People cut up both the Walla Wallla and Alisha Craig and freeze them.  Some people freeze rings on cookies sheets to make onion rings for the Super Bowl.  Some people double bag their onions so the whole freeze doesn't smell like onions.
Doug shot another skunk last night.  There seems to be no end to them.  At least the rain will wash away the smell.  We are so dry I'm happy to see the wet forecast.
        Enjoy your day, Sally
