Life is mostly froth and bubble, two things stand like stone, Kindness in another's trouble, courage in our own.

We are going to have  four days with highs in the mid eighties and lows in the sixties.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a high of 80 and a low of 63.  Occasion showers Thursday lasting into Friday morning.  A high of 69 Thursday with a west breeze and a low of 52.  A brisk NW breeze Friday with a high of 64 and a low of 46.  Then we'll have several pleasant fall days with NW breezes, highs in the mid sixties and lows in the forties.  Will this dry fall be balanced by lots of snow this winter?

      This mornings update is late because i caught up on some sleep.  Darel had a good day yesterday.  He had to sit on the walker and rest a few times but he was able to shave himself with shaving cram and a razor.  In the evening Heather and Mike took us to dinner at Countryside..  With these hot days I watered plants every chance I got.

      The long range temperature forecast is for a warm October and a November and December with below average temperatures.  I'm told the the Almanac says lots of snow, I haven't had chance ot look at it yet.  We think we are going to put a pellet stove in the front room.

       If i am going to do anything besides watering today i'd best get to it.  darel is finished breakfast and ready to get set for the day.  Have a good day, Sally
