9/21/17
God never told us to impress people.  Just to love them.

56 degrees, clear with a light NE breeze.  Some clouds, a NNE wind and a high of 75 degrees with a low of 48.  The NNE winds will be breezes tomorrow with the same temperatures and lots of sun.  Pleasant this week end and Monday with highs in the eighties, near 90 Monday, and lows in the sisties.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun Tuesday with a NE breeze, a high of 779 and a 56.  Cloudy Wednesday with a SE breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 57.  Morning showers next Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 54.Partly cloudy the next several days with showers Wednesday, the 4th and Thursday, the 5th.  There will be NW breezes, highs in the mid sixties and lows in the mid forties.
Darel had a quiet day yesterday, lots of napping.  The Hospice chaplain visited.  He very much enjoys her visiting and the Bible study they have. As often happens afternoon his friend  came by after work to visit.  The two Raymonds, Raymond Freeman and Raymond Bickmore visit him several times a week. Back when he was in ICU the boys told the staff they were their Uncles.   Their visits do a lot to keep his spirits up.
Picked apples, plums and pears yesterday.  the last of the pears.  Some pears went by before anyone got to them.  Like Barbie says, " this is only one season in our life."  Some tomatoes are going by too.  Everyone has lots of tomatoes, no blight this year.  A friend picked some of mine yesterday.  After we spent the afternoon visiting and cleaning up perennials.  Getting them ready to tuck in for the winder.  Its needs to be done before freeze up and they are easier for me to keep watered after they are cut back.  We are doing the ones that art through blooming.
The pretty pink sunrise has given way to fluffy white clouds.  I'm looking forward to a good day, wishing you a good day too.  Sally
