Be the reason someone believes in the Goodness of People!

58 degrees, clear with a west breeze.  Pleasant weather the next four days with WSW breezes except for Friday when it will be an ENE breeze.  highs will be in the low eighties with lows in the high fifties.  Cloudy Sunday with an ENE breeze, a high off 76 and a low of 57.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun on Monday with a SSW breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 56.   Than pleasant though Monday, the 25th, with highs about seventy and lows in the high forties.  A SW breeze Monday than mostly north breezes.  Showers Tuesday, the 26th, and Wednesday, the 27th.

      Darel had a good day yesterday.  He is gaining back his strength, he can sit up and get up again without help.  No mini strokes that we know of.

      I had to clean the cook range this morning.  This time of the year I tend to let the ashes build up in the fire box until I can't shake the grates.  The wood is so well seasoned I don't need much draft for a hot fire.  The CNA comes this morning so now i'm pressed for time.  She gets here at seven and we like to be through breakfast.

      This lovely weather means I'm back to watering   Fortunately Darel had a good enough day so i was able too.  Mostly the mums.  I still have a nice selection but a lot of them have left.  I  got the applesauce canned too. Early apples don't make the best sauce so I canned it in quarts for applesauce cake.

       A very tiny hummingbird is on the morning glories this morning.  Must have been a late hatch.
