Three mini strokes in 24 hours took a lot out of Darel. With help getting to his feet he was still walking with the walker. He slept most of the day, by evening his pulse was back up to 60 from a low of 39. He slept well last night and sat up with less help this morning.
I made some applesauce yesterday, today I'll try to get it canned. I picked tomatoes in the hoop house and watered it. I'm hoping to get out to the garden, it seems like I should have some field tomatoes ripe. I'm thinking I'll get more done outside today. Darel wanted me to sty beside him for awhile yesterday morning. And i didn't venture far the rest of the day. Nicole sat with him after he fell asleep so i could get some tomatoes on the stand.
Doug mowed hay. He hadn't planned on making any more hay but can't pass up this weather. He left before daylight to build fence hoping to get it finished so he can bale the hay when it is ready. We don't often get such good hay weather in September!
Have a good day, Sally
