Mostly sunny Thursday through next Monday with with highs in the mid seventies, NW breezes and los in the low fifties.  Pleasant next Tuesday through Labor Day weekend with SW breezes, highs in the mid to upper seventies and lows in the mid fifties.
Yesterday was a wonderful day.  Darel stayed outside in his wheelchair until the end and enjoyed every minute.  Even though the day started with church at 9:30 he didn't get overtired.  I had hoped he'd nap between church and the celebration he didn't.  He said he didn't want to miss anything!  He had enough energy to open all the beautiful cards we got when he got back to bed.  He did sleep well last night and is still asleep.
I had to wake him for breakfast, none of this 4AM wake up this morning.  His regular CNA is back today.  We are very glad to see her.  Friday Barbie and Nicole had him all up and cared for before the substitute got here.  We were not pleased with his care Wednesday.  Everyone else that has come in has been top quality.
I didn't spend much time in the garden Saturday and none on Sunday so I'll be picking this morning.  Coolers need freshened up and ice.  Than back to mulching. Gilbert kept the cucumber coolers full.  i did go pull some onions before church yesterday.  Our sweet onions are beautiful.  they weigh about a pound each.  The Alisha Craig are going to be even larger.
Everyone outdid themselves making sure there was plenty of food yesterday.  We are glad we still have the big cooler from when we sold milk retail  Everyone will be coming here for supper the next couple of nights.  Not only was there lots of food but Jake and Ashley put up a large shade cover they had for the wedding.  Andrew and Gayle have table and chairs they rent out.  they set them up under the canopy so people could sit and visit out of the sun.  The decorations were beautiful.
The red salvia under the window has gotten tall enough so we can see the blossoms.  And watch the hummingbirds feed on them.  When it is hot the birds seem to go for the liquid in the feeders.  The rest of the time we have so many flowers they ignore the feeders.
I'm looking forward to the pleasant weather.  Darel will enjoy getting out.  And i've lots of gardening i want to do.  An apple tree, some shrubs and some perennials i want to plant.  Besides weeding and mulching.  have a good day, Sally

PS This is even later than usual.  Tiffany stopped on her way back to collage.  She said goodby to Grandpa and he is back to sleep already.  A long day yesterday!  We fixed her up with lots to eat today.
