Church sign:  Just love everyone-I'll sort them out later, God

Cloudy, 64 degrees with a light NW breeze.  Sunny and eighty this afternoon with a stiff west breeze.  A low of 59 tonight.  Pleasant tomorrow and Tuesday with highs in the upper eighties, SW breezes and lows in the sisties. Morning thunderstorms Wednesday with a SW breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 56.  Probably the last day with a high in the eighties.  Pleasant the next seven days with highs in the mid to upper seventies and lows in the mid fifties.  Showers Thursday the 31st, through the weekend with SW breezes highs about 75 and lows in the mid fifties.
Darel's best man at our wedding got here about noon yesterday.  Earlier than we expected but that was good.  Nicole had threatened to cover Darel's watch face so he wouldn't wear it out.  About the time Richie left our former pastor got here so the afternoon went by fast.  Darel is so looking forward to friends and neighbors stopping by to help us celebrate our 60th anniversary.  We and our children have tried to think of friends who don't have FB but we fear some will be missed. The problem with deciding to last Monday to have it today.  If you know of anyone who might not know please tell them.  Open house here at the farm at two this afternoon.  Hamburgers and hot dogs served from two to five-thirty.
Morning glories are so pretty.  I wish the blooms would last all day so everyone could enjoy them. With the cooler weather coming they will last longer. I'm not happy about that either.  Along with getting up in the dark because days are getting shorter.  these things all signal summer is coming to an end.  I'm not ready for fall!  The long range forecasts are forecasting a cold winter.  I keep seeing truck loads of firewood go by.  Our sons and grandsons are filling the half of the garage we use for a wood shed with seasoned wood  Kids are getting ready for school, collage kids leave to go back to collage next week. Jordn is going to put more wood in the back room of the greenhouse this week before he leaves.
After today i will have to buckle down and get my 2018 orders done.  I've order peach and sweet cherry trees.  They sell out so fast I knew they might not be available if i didn't order them.  I've ordered some of the flower seeds that end to sell out.
Tomatoes are starting to ripen.  Soon winter squash will be ripe .  I'm harvesting onions now.  Buds are showing on the fall mums.  A few early ones will be showing blooms for Labor Day.  people are looking for them already.
All of that for another day.  Church this morning than visiting this afternoon.  Wishing you all could join us, Sally
