Be like a tree: Stand tall and proud-Go out on a limb- remember your roots-drink plenty of water-be content with your natural beauty.

Sunny, 60 degrees, with a light west breeze.  Sunny and 81 degrees today with a SW breeze.  Scattered thunderstorms this evening with a low of 58.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a south breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 57.     A stray thunderstorm or showers is possible the next three or four days, most likely Saturday night.  Cloudy Saturday with a south breeze, a high of 74 and a low of 59.  Mostly cloudy Sunday with a WSW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 57. Pleasant the week of the 14th through the next weekend with mostly west breezes, highs about 80 and lows about 58.

     Darel had a very pleasant day yesterday, sat up several times, lots of birds are coming to the feeders to watch.  He had some visitors to help pass the time.  And was well enough to visit with them.

     Picked vegetables yesterday, berries today.  I had a doctor's appointment yesterday.  As often happens my ribs on my left side were resting on my hip.  The doctor put them back up where they belong and i did some grocery shopping, went to the bank, picked up Darel's prescriptions and watered the flowers at church.  I din't have to wait at the doctor's so I got home before Darel started watching the clock.

    Today Rachael and I are going to rearrange the mums, they are getting crowded.  I don't want any misshaped plants.  I've had to water them enough with our hard water from the well to cause some yellowing from lack of iron so I'll be giving them some iron.  My boxes in front of the barn are getting kind of sad looking.  I may pull some flowers out and put in others.  Mostly cutting back over grown ones and fertilizing.
