The garlic is all planted and mulched.  The gardens are ready to soak up this weekend's rain.  We just wish there was more in the forecast.
The girls took inventory of their jars of jam for the craft fair, 175 jars of jams and jellies.  All the fruit came from here.  Except for the blueberries  Birds ate our blueberries.  Boxes of handmade Christmas decorations are sitting everywhere.  The craft fair is at Bradford Townhall Saturday, November 21st.
A couple of juvenile grackles showed up at the feeders four or five days ago,  I quickly bought in the easy to get to suet feeder and stopped putting seeds on the platform feeders.  Grackles are lazy, they leave if getting food isn't easy.  If food is easy they go get their friends.  I haven't seen them for at least three days so I'll put the suet feeder back out and fill all the feeders.  There was an upside down feeder with suet in it.  They were very frustrated because they couldn't get to the suet.  We usually aren't bothered by grackles in November.
May your day be blessed, Sally
