8/18/26 We don't need a perfect life to be happy, we just need to be grateful for the life we already have.

Calm, dense fog, 62 degrees.  Cloudy today, a gentle NE breeze, high 77, low 60.  Partly cloudy tomorrow, a WSW breeze, high 81, low 61.  Partly cloudy Friday, a light WNW breeze, a high of 81, low 57.  Sunshine Friday, a light NW breeze, a high of 81, low 54.  Partly cloudy Saturday, an ESE breeze, high 81, low 59.  Showers Sunday, an ESE breeze, a high of 73, low 62.  Scattered Thunderstorms Monday, a SW breeze, high 76, low 55.   Partly cloudy next Tuesday and Wednesday, WSW breezes, highs about 75, lows about 55. Mostly cloudy next Thursday, a south breeze, high 76, low 57. Showers Friday the 28th, a WNW breeze, high 76, low 57. Cloudy the weekend of the 29th and 30th, WNW breezes, highs 77, lows about 56.  Partly cloudy Monday the 31st and Tuesday September 1st., WNW breezes, high about 78. lows 57.

    It didn't rain very long yesterday but thankfully it rained hard.  We got 7/10th of an inch.  The ground was dry enough so probably not much reached the water table but I'm sure it helped the grass.  The  sump pump didn't run.  The fog has lifted, it is very pleasant outside.

    We are praying for Alaskan daughter-in-law Eileen's family.   They have had to evacuate because of a wildfire in Tok, Alaska.  Her family in Hawaii were in the path of the hurricane.  No utilities but Eileen did get word that they are ok.  So many in our country are dealing with wildfires and floods!
