1/16/26  Nothing is all wrong.  Even a clock that has stopped running is right twice a day.

    Doctors were able to control the fluid build up in Gilbert's lungs.  Upping his oxygen helped him breathe.  Improved pain control made a big difference.  He regained his voice.  Last night it was decided he could go home on hospice.  Details are to be ironed out today.
    Andrew is doing well.  The hospital said no steps so lil Andrew made ramps.  The pt person had him take out two that were just one step.  He said Andrew needed to work on steps.
    There is a lot of glare ice.  I'll sand to the bird feeders and there are enough ashes to make a path to the barn.The path to the barn alternates between ice and dirt.  Lil Andrew sanded Gilbert's trailer park. This morning's skiff of snow has helped a little
    .Mabel, Bekah's cow, is a guernsey. Guernsey milk  is renowned for its rich, golden color, high butterfat (around 5%), protein (12% more than regular milk), and natural sweetness, often containing beneficial A2 beta-casein protein that's easier to digest for some, plus more Vitamin D, A, and calcium, making it excellent for drinking, cream, cheese, and butter.  Bekah has had Mabel's milk tested, her milk is the A2 protein.   This week Mabel was artifically bred with seman fron a bull carrying the A2 gene.
