.72 of rain now. Even though we could use a couple of inches we are very thankful for what we got. Everything seems greener, the flowers seem brighter.
I haven't seen any hummingbirds this morning. The bright yellow of the finches at the sunflowers and the feeders keeps the kitchen garden bright. The rain didn't come in time to save the later crop of sweetcorn that was for this weekend.
Bekah spent yesterday working on the Griffin supply order. It is our biggest, most expensive order. Part of it comes next month, part of it the first week in April. It can be added to but Griffin asks that most of the order be in by Tuesday. We ran out of potatoes for a while but now they have potatoes in the stand from a later planting.
The pullets are laying lots of eggs. A few of them are getting larger. With cooler temperatures the older hens are laying more eggs.
May your day be blessed, Sally
