7/26/25  A long life may not be good enough but a good life is always long enough to be grateful for.

Sunshine, a light NW breeze, 62 degrees.  Sunshine today, high of 83, a NW breeze.  There is an air quality alert due to Canadian smoke.  Tonight's low 57.  A strong SSW breeze tomorrow, partly cloudy, high 82, low 63.  A WNW breeze through Monday through Saturday with partly cloudy skies. Monday and Tuesday's high 88, low 64.  Wednesday's high 82, low 61.  Thursday's high 78, low 54.  Friday's high 73, low 51.  Next Saturday's high 76, low 55.  A west breeze next Sunday , high 83, low 60.  Brisk WSW breezes the week of the 4th with partly cloudy skies.  A chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday..Highs about 84 Monday and Tuesday, lows 60. Highs in the upper seventies the rest of the week, lows about 59.

The little rain we got didn't interfere much with the day.  .11 of it came late afternoon in five minutes, after we thought we'd had all the rain we were getting.  We go by crates of cucumbers now, there are so many.  Zucchini and yellow squash aren't doing very well but there are lots of other vegetables.  Yesterday's rain wasn't enough to help with the watering.
I spent the day going through toys. There were lots of toys and things "visiting", the kids helped me sort and they took their belongings  home.   A couple bags of broken toys went to the dumpster.  The rest are in their rightful place.  I went through some of the craft stuff yesterday.  Now that it is neat and sorted I will refill  supplies.
Today they are going to butcher the rest of the meat birds.  The cow barn is full of hay so the kids and I will clean up the spilled hay, mostly chaff from around the elevator. and put the flower boxes back in front of the milk house.
May your day be blessed, Sally
