6/25/25  If I’m overwhelmed, I slow down. It’s more effective.

Sun and clouds, 76 degrees.  Mostly sunny today with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 86.  A brisk north breeze tonight , a low of 54.  Mostly cloudy tomorrow with a NNW breeze, high of 71, low of 50.  Mostly cloudy Friday, a SE breeze, a high of 77.  Rain Friday night with a low of 53.  Rain Saturday with a SE breeze, a high of 59, low of 54.  Some leftover showers Sunday morning, clouds Sunday afternoon, a light SE breeze, high of 71, low  58.  Partly cloudy Monday with a SSW breeze, a high of 82, low of 62.  Thunderstorms Tuesday with a brisk south breeze, high of 82, low 65.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday with a stiff WSW breeze, high of 83, low 62.  Mostly sunny next Thursday with a brisk WSW breeze, a high of 78, low of 59.  Partly cloudy Friday the 4th with a WNW breeze, high of 78, low 59.  Perhaps some PM showers Saturday the 5th with a SW breeze, high of 81, low 61.  Morning fog/afternoon clouds Sunday the 6th, a SSW breeze, high of 81 low 62.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun Monday the 7th, a SW breeze, high 82, low 61.  Partly cloudy the 8th, showers the 9th.  Highs about 82, lows about 62.

      This morningI have an early  doctor's appointment. I'm not supposed to do anything after the doctor straightens my back. I had planned to go to Bangor.  Yesterday Bekah picked lots of rhubarb.  I cut the leaves off, today I will cut it up and dehydrate it.  I went to town yesterday.  First stop was the Habitat for Humanity Restore Store.  They had exactly the cabinet I needed for $50.  And lots of other stuff.  It is a store I will go back to again.  Darel has the perfect  piece of a kind of special plywood for the counter top.  All of our paper products for picnics will fit in.  They'll stay clean and dust free.  Next I went to Ocean State.  I needed two 100' collapsible hoses, they had two left. They didn't have a short 12 gauge extension cord. Next I got a few groceries.  Ice cream and cones were on sale so the kids were glad to see me when I got home.  I came home through Corinth so I could stop at the hardware store.  I got a heavy duty extension cord for the dehydrator and some spray paint. The last cord they had, everyone buying them for their air conditioners. A good trip, mostly in the air conditioned truck or an airconditioned store.  When I got home one thermometer read 99, the other 105.

     Only one customer at the nursery yesterday.  They watered and watered some more.  At three they closed and took the kids swimming.  I was here, no one showed up.  I watered the flowers around the house.
