Sun and clouds, 58 degrees, a light south breeze.  More clouds moving in this afternoon with a high of 80 and a brisk SSW breeze. Fog developing after midnight with a light south breeze, a low of 58.  Cloudy tomorrow with a SSE breeze, a high of 77, a low of 34.  Cloudy Saturday with occasional afternoon showers, rain Saturday night.  An ESE breeze, a high of 60, a low of 52.  Rain Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 63, a low of 48.  Showers Monday with a strong NNW breeze, a high of 63, a low of 45.  Cloudy Tuesday with a light north wind, a high of 53, a low of 44. Cloudy Wednesday and Thursday with  brisk NE breezes,  highs of 56,  lows of 45.  Some PM showers next Friday with a NE breeze, a high of 56, a low of 45.  Showers next Saturday with a NE breeze, a high of 58, a low of 48.  Mostly cloudy next Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 62, a low of 48. Possible showers Monday the 24th with a NW breeze, a high of 63, a low of 48.  Possible showers Tuesday the 27th with a WSW breeze, a high of 65, a low of 49.  Clouds Wednesday the 28th and Thursday the 29th with NW breezes, highs about 68. lows about 51.

    A good doctor's appointment yesterday.  She is very pleased with how I'm doing, and so am I.  She's not pleased that I've lost 5 pounds, and says I should have eaten more birthday cake.  Then she got serious and gave me a lecture.  

     A new clothes line is up, we are keeping it full of clothes, taking advantage of this good weather.  I was a little concerned because it isn't far from the kitchen garden where all the birds are but so far no problem.  The orioles are still here.  We had grape jelly and oranges out for them.  I had a sugar water feeder but it leaked.  Amazon had one half price,  It came yesterday and either the male or female was there most of the day..When they weren't at the feeder the hummingbirds were.  I have two hummingbird feeders in the kitchen garden, one by the picnic table and one by the climbing rose.  It is recommended hanging a hummingbird feeder by rose bushes.  The birds eat aphids off the roses.  I'm putting a third hummingbird feeder in the kitchen garden this morning.  I had to make another batch of sugar water.

    When not helping customers they laid black plastic on the newly tilled ground.  The plastic will warm up the soil.  Even though they cover crops that like it warm with ag fabric the soil needs to be warm.  It will take a couple more days to get it done.
