Some of the driveway was bare before the snow.  There is just enough snow to make the ice sticky.  There is a lot of water on the roads and there are lots of new potholes to wreck your car.  So man in places that a driver can't avoid them. Nicole's birthday was celebrated with dinner at Olive Garden last night.  Lots of fog on the way home.
Yesterday the area between the greenhouse and the road filled with water,  The culvert that drains that area runs under the road and was plugged with ice.  The water was so high you couldn't tell there was a pond.  Water started running in the greenhouse, getting several inches deep.   Thankfully the ice jam broke and water started flowing.  By afternoon the greenhouse had drained, by evening the floor was dry.  Jay made ditches in the ice on the west side of the greenhouse so that the water ran away from it.
The order that came Monday is all in pots and trays.  The heat mats are covered with trays of seeds.  Lots of pepper seeds.  Every year they grow more pepper seedlings, every year they have run out!  So they have planted lots more pepper seeds.
We didn't get a lot of snow but the wind has it all in the air.  We had let the pellet stove in here go out, it was too warm.  Bekah is starting it now.  The temperature is dropping outside and inside!  I threw sunflower seeds on the ground, the wind was blowing the birds off the feeders!
May your day be blessed.  Sally
