3/20/25  Spring arrived at 5:05 this morning.  Winter doesn"t want to get the message.

Cloudy, calm, 37 degrees.  Morning fog/afternoon clouds with a SE breeze, a high of 38.  Rain tomorrow with a WNW wind, a high of 40.  A light WNW wind tomorrow night with a low of 31.  Sunshine Saturday with a stiff south breeze, a high of 55, a low of 22.  Sunshine Sunday with a NW wind, a high of 36, a low of 21.  1-3 inches of snow Monday with a brisk SE breeze, a high of 34.  !-3 inches of snow Monday night with a low of 29.  Cloudy Tuesday with a WSW breeze, a high 47, a low of 28.  PM showers Wednesday with a WNW breeze, a high of 43, a low of 27. Partly cloudy next  Thursday and Friday with brisk WNW breezes, highs of 41, lows of 25.  Partly cloudy next Saturday with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 37, a low of 26.  Partly cloudy next Sunday and Monday the 31st with a brisk  NW breezes,  highs of 41,  low about  25.  Brisk NW breezes the first 3 days in April, partly cloudy. highs about 43, lows about 29.

Yesterday was beautiful weather for moving plants to the new greenhouse.  Tomorrow will be another.  Any plants that need to move after that will probably have to be wrapped.  Strong NW breezes with highs in the low forties aren't kind to plants. A planting corner has been set up in the new greenhouse, a cadillac set up compared to the other greenhouse.
The snow drifts around the benches are gone.  I can remember having to shovel snow to put the pansies out.  The benches are showing their age.  Probably repairs this year but new benches are in future plans.  Thanks to that December storm a lot of cleanup needs to be done before the first week in April when semi trucks  bringing Coast of Maine soils and other supplies come.
I got a phone call yesterday from the Charles Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville.  It wasn't the hospital at all, some creep selling something.  My mind imagined all kinds of things before I found out it was fraud.  I've had two other calls from neighbors this week where the caller had stolen the number.
May your day be blessed, Sally
