It was cold yesterday but the sun was strong. Strong enough so Jay was afraid the path to the chickens would be slippery so he spread wood ashes on it. for me. It was cold last night but the furnace and wood stove didn't have to work as hard to keep the greenhouse warm as they did Sunday night.. Bekah still went out during the night and put wood on the stove.
The plug and cutting shipment got here early afternoon. Bekah had water warming by the stove. By evening the seedlings were all unpacked and watered. They were all in the center of the greenhouse where they would be warm if it got cold. Transplanting starts today. Late afternoon the notice for next week's shipment came. There is a little room in the fourth box if Bekah sees something on the discount list she wants to add.
I had lunch with my sister. When I got home I ordered craft and coloring sheets we will do with the grandchildren during Lent and Holy Week.. Ash Wednesday is tomorrow. Easter is
very late this year, April 20th. There should be lots of pansies in bloom'
May your day be Blessed, Sally
