I didn't get too much checked off my list yesterday. In the afternoon I went to Dover for a new hearing aid battery. When I got back I realized the sump pump wasn't working. Big Andrew had hip waders that fit Bekah. She waded through the water to the pump why Andrew looked down the hole we use to check the pump and told her what to do. Jay was outside checking the hose the water comes out of. Bekah's conversation this morning was, "What would we do without the Uncles, they are always "Johnny on the spot" when we need them!
In the evening I went to Annabelle's Christmas concert. About eight of the students were recognized for their dedication to the music program, she was one of them.
Jay was glad to see the snow go. They had been pushing so hard on the greenhouse he never got to get everything picked up and put away. He spent yesterday morning getting ready for winter. It was warm out and the grass was green! The girls spent the day Christmas shopping.
I sprinkled some flour where we think the skunk may be getting under the house. I'm hoping there will be tracks in it. I have a rainbow vacuum, it has an air cleaner mode. Last night I left it running in the entryway all night. The smell seems gone to Bekah and i. I'm waiting for someone with a fresh nose to come and check it out. We were sure we had the back of the house barricaded but that skunk dug under the cement.
I hope to finish setting up the village today. And decorate the front hall. The house took a back seat to the new greenhouse and Christmas at Country Junction. May your day be Blessed, Sally
