4/16/24 We are meant to live from the land, not from a package.

Calm, 39 degrees, broken clouds.  Partly cloudy today, clear tonight. A strong WNW breeze with a high of 56, tonight's low 32.  Sunshine tomorrow with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 56, a low of 32.  Partly cloudy Thursday with an ESE breeze, a high of 60, a low of 33.  Cloudy Friday, some rain Friday night with strong south breezes.  high of 58, low of 42.  Light rain early Saturday with a stiff WSW breeze, a high of 58, a low of 37.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 55, a low of 33.  Sunshine Monday with a brisk WSW breeze, a high of 58, a low of 36.  Partly cloudy next Tuesday with a strong south breeze, a high of 60, a low of 39.  Cloudy next Wednesday with a strong west breeze, a high of 57, a low of 37.  Sunshine next Thursday with a strong NNW breeze, a high of 54, a low of 38. Partly cloudy Friday the 26th and the weekend with strong NNW breezes, highs about 56, lows about 38.  Showers to start the week of the 29th.

      Yesterday was pleasant weather wise.  a quiet day after a busy weekend.  Chrisy and Jameson stopped in to say goodbye.  So did Tiffany and Even but we will be seeing them soon.  Rhode Island isn't as far away as Alaska!  Cindy spent some time in the greenhouse before heading back to New Hampshire.  She had to get her hands in the sil!

      A lot was done in the greenhouse.  Jay did a lot of work in the display area.  As of today the greenhouse is officially open. In April they follow summer hours of closed Sunday and Monday.  For the month of May they are open six days a week and Sunday afternoons.  Open Greenhouse week with door prizes and giveaways is the first week in May.

  I'm hoping I can start in my flower gardens today.  May God be with you, Sally
