It is good this is school vacation week. Sunny days means the kids can play outside to their heart's content.  It also means tired kids come night time!  Yesterday was a very productive day, we were all tired last night.  Lots more clean up got done.  Just in time to start planting.  Gilbert tilled where the onions and potatoes will be  planted.  Fedex bought 2000+ Alisha Craig onion plants late yesterday.  Gilbert is already planting his.  Jay and Bekah soon will be planting theirs.  Maegin bought her two older girls down this morning.  She is taking Ruby her toddler, to walk in with an ear/sinus infection?
I got more cupboards rearranged so there is space for Bekah's stuff.  I did some work on the freezers.  They need to be gone through and defrosted before 2024 crops are ready to go in them.  Rhubarb and asparagus will be ready before we know it.
The sun is shining, it is already 42 degrees.  Bekah checked all the cold frames and small greenhouses.  All the plants fared the chilly night well.  so did the baby chicks.  They seem to be getting more feathers every day.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
