Yesterday started with the spring ritual of ordering chicks.  I ordered a few chicks that will become blue egg layers just for fun.  They will come april 4th or 5th, right in the middle of the girls switching homes.  Bekah says we'll get ready for them this week.
Nexti got a text from a Home Depot employee I had been talking to about a garage door.  A weekend special.  A special good enough for me to drop everything and go order it.  It won't be available for two months but for the savings I will wait two months.  Business was very slow at Home Depot.  He took advantage of no other customers to have me look at his garden and greenhouse plans.  The Andrews will install the door for me.
Bekah and Jay spent the day working on the outside greenhouses and cold frames.  They want to be able to expand to them April 1st.  The forecast says the night time temperatures will allow moving right at hoped for time or maybe a few days early.  Gilbert is anxious for warmer nights.  He will be bringing plants in from his greenhouse.  It is attached to his house  but unheated.  I will be setting up my little greenhouse at the end of the month.
Church this morning.  A dense fog has rolled in.  After church I will work on yesterday's to-do list.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
