Fair, calm, 25 degrees.  Sun and clouds today with a brisk south breeze, a high of 50.  Occasional rain tonight with a SSE wind, a low of 38.  Rain tomorrow and tomorrow night with SW winds, a high of 51, a low of 20.  Snow may mix with the rain if the temperature drops before the rain stops.  Gusty WNW winds Friday and Friday night, partly cloudy, a high of 34, a low of 26.  Partly cloudy Saturday and Sunday with highs about 53, lows of 34.  A brisk SW breeze Saturday, a north breeze Sunday.  Cloudy Monday with an ESE breeze, a high of 46, a low of 36.  PM  showers next Tuesday with an east breeze, a high of 47, a low of 38. Showers next Wednesday with a brisk SW breeze, a high of 49, a low of 35.  Showers next Thursday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 47, a low of 33.  Rain/snow showers the 8th through the 11th with brisk NW breezes, highs in the mid forties, lows about 30.  Partly cloudy Tuesday the 12th with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 45, a low of 31.

    I got the new water heater yesterday.  Gilbert set it in place when we got home and got started on the plumbing.  He'll work on it today.  I'm burning up the wood in the cookstove so it will cool down.  He needs it cool to shut off the water when he hooks into the water lines.  After the Mom's prayer meeting yesterday morning Bekah came home and transplanted seedlings.. 

    An Amish family has bought the Hurd farm just down the road.  They move in on April 30th.  They visited Bekah yesterday.  She is going to plant their tomato seeds and have their plants ready to plant.  They plan to sell canning tomatoes, sweet corn and bulk cucumbers. Very nice people.  They've had a small place on the other side of town for awhile. They had a bake and gift shop over there.  I don't know if they plan to have them here.
