Clear, calm, 3 degrees.  Sun and clouds this morning, clouds this afternoon with a stiff SW breeze, a high of 29.  Some clearing late tonight with a stiff SW breeze, a low of 21.   Sunshine tomorrow with a WNW wind, a high of 27, a low of 3.  Sunshine Tuesday with a NW breeze, a high of 26, a low of 10.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a stiff south breeze, a high of 38, a low of 19.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a south breeze, a high of 40, a low of 27.  Flurries Thursday night.  Rain/snow Friday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 40, a low of 20. Partly cloudy Saturday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 28, a low of 14.  Partly cloudy next Sunday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 31, a low of 18. Partly cloudy next Monday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 38, a low of 22.  Sunshine Tuesday the 27th with a brisk WNW breeze,high of 41,a low of 28.  A brisk ESE breeze Wednesday the 28th with a high of 44, a low of 34.  Snow to rain.  Rain/snow showers the rest of the week, through Sunday the 3rd with brisk WNW breezes, highs in the forties, lows around 30.

    Yesterday was a good day.  Bekah went to a craft fair and got to talk to lots of people as she passed out the Phenology Calendar and the sheets with important dates for the 2024 season. She was able to explain to people why there was no winter letter this year.  Postage and costs have gotten too high.  And we were getting many letters back. People were understanding and talking about spring plans made for a pleasant day.

    Meanwhile in the greenhouse Jay and his father were repairing the wood stove, cleaning the chimney and stove pipe. The wood stove is all ready to light Thursday.  Its warmth will help the propane furnace  and should something happen to the furnace there is  backup heat.  When I just had the wood stove we had to put wood on it every 2 and a half hours, day and night. There is a machine in the greenhouse that calls Bekah if the temperature gets too cold or hot.  It has battery backup in case the power goes out.

     Church this morning, making cookies this afternoon.  This evening there is a pizza party at church.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
