Darel had a quiet day yesterday with a ride to the Creamery last night. And a stop at the store for dill flavored potato chips.
Things were quiet in the nursery too. Weeding, water, and picking cucumbers and squash. Fising a broken hose fitting and a crack in the automatic water line. i guess that is to be expected when we are doing a lot of watering. The perennials are looking very pretty with lots of blooms. Tamarra cut the garlic scapes off. i don't do anything with them but she was going to try. Five quarts of raspberries were picked and are on the stand. I'll pick more today. More loads of hay went in the barn.
I haven't seen a blackbird for several days so I decided to fill the feeders and put out suet. Yesterday before I got to it a blackbird showed up, checking to see what was here. I'm still going to fill them and hope he won't be back for awhile. The nt hatches and woodpeckers keep checking the suet feeder.
Looking forward to another pleasant day, hoping yours is good too, Sally
