Darel had a good day yesterday with a nice visit from Raymond Freeman and a trip to Bangor in the evening.
I defrosted our big freezer yesterday.  A job that took most of the morning, one that i was so glad to check off.  Lots of room for the berries that are coming on.  There are still some berries from last year i need to get made into jam.
I picked cucumber, this morning I'll put the sign out.  Later i'll pick cucumbers and squash. I need to get back to watering today but I'm hoping to pick raspberries too.
Tamarra's big accomplishment yesterday was straightening out the garage and getting all the pots and trays people had bought back put away.  Now inventory will be easy.  i need to have my supply order ready to turn in August 21st at the latest.  The 15th is the due date.  The 21st  is the day of the Griffin expo in Springfield, Mass.  Heather and I are going.  Griffin provides a bus but by driving we can come right home if need be.
First thing in the morning I check my morning glories.  So far the woodchuck hasn't been back.  i need a dog to patrol the yard and nursery for me!  Today i'm going to put suet back out, the blackbirds all seem to be gone.  i've seen the nuthatches looking for it.
Doug mowed all day yesterday .  his goal is too finish first cutting during this nice stretch of weather.
    Have a good day, Sally
