 Fog, light SW breeze and 33 degrees.  A few showers around eight this morning, some sun this afternoon with a SW breeze and a high of 47.  Clear tonight with a stiff NWN breeze and a low of 17.  Sunny tomorrow with a NNE breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 31.  Cloudy Thursday with a light east breeze and a high of 35.  A wintery mix likely Thursday night with an ESE breeze and a low of 31.  light rain Friday morning with a SSW breeze, a high of 44 and a low of 12 Friday night with strong west breezes.  Cloudy Saturday with a WNW wind, a high of 16 and a low of 4.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 23 and a low of 7.  Mostly sunny Monday with a WNW breeze, a high of 23 and a low of 6.  mostly cloudy Tuesday with  a west breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 18.  Snow starting during the night next Tuesday, lasting through Wednesday night.  As of now the forecast is for 5-10 inches.  A brisk NW breeze Wednesday with a high of 29 and a low of 14.  Partly cloudy next Thursday and Friday with NW breezes, highs about 28 and lows about 15.  Snow showers the weekend of the 16th and 17th, lasting into the next week with highs about 30 and lows about 16.

      The doctor doesn't think Darel had a stroke.  He thinks it was a problem with his malfunctioning heart valve.  He says Darel is not a candidate for surgery but has talked him into going for some tests so we know what we are dealing with.. A specialist checked out that valve about 5 years ago and advised against trying corrective surgery.  What ever the problem he felt good yesterday and was able to get in the truck without my help for the first time in about three weeks.

      A nice warm day!  I worked in the garage and greenhouse.  I think everyone got their garages cleaned last fall and bought all their trays and pots here!  And I didn't get any of them sorted last fall.  I'm very glad for some warm days.  I pulled perennials and got trays ready for planting this morning.

My sales rep and I went over the boxes of plugs and cuttings.  She wanted to make sure I know which boxes still had room for more plants!  Odds and ends go on sale each week in hopes the customers will buy them to fill their boxes.  Problem is room in the greenhouse when they get here.
