Darel had a good day yesterday.  No TV in the morning(snow on the dish) got him thinking about going to town.  Three four years ago he quit using the motorized carts because he couldn't get out of one.  He got thinking that using the walker he could pull himself to his feet.  So we had to try it.  We went to Walmart and he made out fine.  And said he really enjoyed going round the store. ( I'm not sure if that is a good thing!)
We got about four inches of very heavy snow that settled because of a misting for several hours.  The roads were bare going to town.  There are some icy patches in the driveway but walking isn't a problem.  i'm hoping the birds ate most of the sunflower seeds before they sank into the snow thanks to the temperature climbing into the low forties.  I'm glad I put most of the seeds on the platform feeders.  The two gray squirrels have made a truce, they eat from the same feeder now.  The seeds won't sink in today!
The get to gather room will be going back to half office today.  Plus the plant table will come back.My printer isn't working, I'm hoping to get that fixed today too.  And I have to bottle honey.
With the colds and flu going around people are going to want honey to mix with lemon juice for coughs.  And some mix honey with apple cider vinegar for a cure.  In February people start taking honey for help with allergies.  No lack of things to do!
     Have a good day, Sally
