Kindness is like snow.  it beautifies everything it touches.

Darel had a good day yesterday.  We registered the truck at the town hall and decided the roads weren't good enough to go to the lunch at church.
The therapist had tired Darel out enough in the morning so he didn't mind too much.  A long nap was good.
I paid bills yesterday.  Registering the truck set us back $500.  I didn't do much shoveling.  Gilbert shoved some and last night Lil Andrew shoveled out the garage door.  I saw our resident skunk one of the times I went out to the hen house.  I see it quit often.  It doesn't bother me and I ignore it.  It is keeping the rats down, we haven't seen any all winter.  No torn bags of feed or messed up hay.
We've gained about 19 minutes of daylight, enough so we notice it on a sunny afternoon.  I'm not complaining about the coming cold spell.  It seems that when we have January temperatures in January we don't have them in March.  I do expect lots of snow this March.
       Have a good day, Sally
