Darel had a good day yesterday.  He is looking forward to Sunday School and church today.
I spent the morning visiting.  Saturday's are pleasant, seems like family often stops by to visit. I spent all afternoon washing windows and woodwork in the get to gather room.  Usually I do it before I fill the windows with plants.  It didn't seem like we had as many fly specks as there were fly specks to wash off the woodwork.  I got rid of some plants and cleaned the others up.  There may be some streaks when the sun shines on them but now they are shining as they reflect the candle light.
The snow and ice that were so slippery Friday was mushy yesterday.  i was able to walk around and do odds and ends that should have been done before freeze up.  I'll probably need to spread some ashes today.
Next weekend day length will seem to stand still as the sun slowly starts staying with us longer.  In two weeks I'll be starting seeds.  In eight weeks I'll be starting the greenhouse fires.  Heather and I talked about vegetable seed orders yesterday.  And potatoes and strawberry plants.  spring will come!
    have a good day, Sally
