Darel had a good day yesterday. In the evening we went to the Bradford historical Society dinner. He wasn't up to staying very long, a good thing, the power went off soon as we got home. Gilbert came home shortly after we did. I had the cords run, he started the generator and we were all set. It came back on during the night. Since this was a rain event, no snow, picking up the cords won't be a big deal this morning.
We had a serious patch of burdock in the corner of the yard by the horse barn. It extended behind the red shed. I say had because when the rain became a mist yesterday I cut it down and hauled it to the woods. I have a pile of heavy cardboard Andrew got me and a pile of old hay Doug gave me. I'm going to mulch the area with the cardboard and hay. Next spring i will plant it to sunflowers. I had to wear rain gear to tackle the patch for protection rom the burs so a rainy day was perfect for the job.
Lots to do before we leave for Sunday School. Have a good day, Sally
