9/11/18
In the blink of an eye everything may change.  So forgive often and love with all your heart.

A light east breeze, rain and 52 degrees.  Rain until late afternoon with a brisk east breeze and a high of 64.  Mostly calm tonight with clearing during the night and a low of 54.  Some clouds tomorrow with a light NNE breeze, a high of 74 and a low of 55.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a light NW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 55.  Partly cloudy Friday with a light SSE breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 56.  Pleasant for the weekend and into Monday with highs around 82, lows in the upper fifties.  Afternoon showers next Tuesday into Wednesday.  Will the showers become rain if Florence feeds into them??  A south breeze Tuesday with a high of 73 and a low of 60.  A stiff WSW breeze next Wednesday with a a high of 70 and a low of 45.  Showers Friday, the 21st and Sunday, the 23rd.  Otherwise a pleasant six or seven days with highs in the sixties and lows in the forties.
Darel had a comfortable day yesterday but didn't feel like taking a walk outside so wanted out last night.  So we rode down to the store and back.  I didn't want to go anywhere because Lil Andrew was coming down to help me with some things his height and muscle would make easy.
Andrew did come down and in short order everything on my list was done.  Among other things he hung up the herb dryer over the cook range.  As soon as things dry out some from this rain I'll start drying herbs.  We have lots of tomatoes now so he hung up my tomato sign.  The first order of canning tomatoes leaves Friday.
I spent some time digging grass out of the front flower garden.  With the perfect gardening forecast I want to plant some perennials.  Even if winter comes early like some are saying there is plenty of time for them to get settled in.
I'm going to get a perm this morning.  Tamarra will be here cleaning the greenhouse.  All the sudden I'll be getting a call that my pallets of soil are coming.
    Have a good day, Sally
