When little people are overcome by their big emotions it is our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.
Calm, 62 with clouds. A light ESE breeze today with a high of 81 and a low of 65 tonight. Some scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. Occasional showers tomorrows with a light SE breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 67. Scattered thunderstorms Wednesday with a light WSW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 62.Partly cloudy Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 58. Partly cloudy Friday with a SSE breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 65. Scattered thunderstorms Saturday morning , clearing in the afternoon. A WNW breeze with a high of 77 and a low of 61. Sunny Sunday and Monday with light NWN breezes, highs about 81 and lows about 60. Partly cloudy next Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 61. Scattered showers and thunderstorms the next few days, pleasant the weekend of the 25th. highs will be about 80.
Darel had a great day yesterday. Usually Communion is served to him in his seat. Yesterday he (and his walker) were able to walk up and join our church family at the Communion table. Tiffany came down and showed us the video of Bekah's wedding on our big TV in the afternoon. I've wondered if sadness over missing her wedding contributed to all the problems he had last weekend. In the evening we went to the Creamery, he decided to go in and see the flavors for himself! The kids will be disappointed that he didn't make it into the sundae bar. Maybe another time.
I did some watering yesterday afternoon and started several other jobs and couldn't seem to finish anything. I did get the hummingbird feeders cleaned and refilled. With so many sunflower and thistle seeds around for the birds I'm not filling their feeders. let the chipmunks and red squirrels hunt for food, maybe the black cat that has moved into our barn will cut down on their numbers. And the remaining raccoon that was too big to get caught in the trap will find a different route. I'm sure it is the reason i've no bull frogs in my little pond this year.
