Cloudy, 69 degrees with a light SW breeze.  Afternoon sun and 82 degrees with a stiff south breeze and a low of 68 tonight.  possible morning showers tomorrow with a stiff south breeze, a high of 880 and a low of 68.  Thunderstorms Thursday with a brisk south breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 65.  Partly cloudy Friday with a SW breeze, a high of 87 and a low of 64.  Scattered thunderstorms Saturday with a SW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 61.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 58.  Partly cloudy next Monday with a SW breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 68.  Afternoon showers next Tuesday lasting into Wednesday with highs about 81 and lows about 68. Partly cloudy next Thursday and tan Scattered thundershowers are forecast for every day into the next week with highs in the low eighties.

    Darel's day was good yesterday except that it was a stay at home day.  We did take a ride to the store for a can of peanuts last night.

    I cleaned house yesterday morning, in the afternoon weeded the phlox display.  As I was rearranging it to make sure each pot was getting water i realized they were full of weeds.  It seems like just a week or so ago they were all weeded!  Ground cover and regular germaniums (cranesbill) are in the same place.  I need to move some of the ground cover out front, It is so pretty and people don't seem to b noticing it.

     I filled the humming bird feeders in the morning and refilled them last night.  They come to the feeders more on hot, humid days and there are so many of them with the hatchlings.  Lots of  birds at the feeders.  They are eating so much that i don't rush to refil the feeders.  A lot of people have had to take their feeders down because of bears.  Foxes seem to be a problem too.  I guess i'd better not complain too much about my wood chucks.
