Even though Darel's heartbeat was low Darel and his sister had a pleasant day yesterday going through lots of old pictures and reminiscing.
It was noon before i got to weeding yesterday. But I did get a lot done because mike bought us supper. All I had to do was come in and enjoy a delicious meal.
In the morning i gave the flowers around the house and in baskets some much need attention. Fixed a hose, hoses are so handy but they do take maintenance. I've been doing some weed whacking every morning with my battery powered whacker, whacking until the battery runs out. On Monday the man who works for Doug is going to do some major weed whacking for me. Along the road ditches and out in the gardens. It will look better and weeds will be cut before they can go seed.
The bee keeper checked my bees. They aren't making much honey. No ones bees are, it has been too dry. My bees have lots of water but the pollen is very dry.
The kids picked some raspberries and cherries yesterday. More will be picked today. Even so I plan to weed this afternoon. A family get together tomorrow after church so I'll be doing some cooking. Have a good day, Sally
