Stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're not going back.

Sunshine, 54 degrees and calm.  Sunny today with a light north breeze, a high of 777 and a low tonight of 55.  Sunny tomorrow with a SSE breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 54.  Mostly cloudy Saturday with a south breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 58.  Possible thunderstorms Sunday afternoon with a light SW breeze, a high of 85 and a low of 61.  Partly cloudy Monday with a SW breeze, a high of 89 and a low of 63.  Partly cloudy with showers later in the day on Tuesday with a strong south breeze, a high of 86 and a low of 67.  Scattered thunderstorms Wednesday with a SW breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 62.  Sunny next Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 59.  Morning showers next Friday with a WNW breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 59.  Partly cloudy Saturday, the 21st with a west breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 61.  About the same Sunday with a chance for afternoon thunderstorms.  Pleasant the week of the 23rd with highs in the 80's

    Darel had a pleasant  day yesterday visiting with his sister.  And of course we needed to take her to the Creamery last night.

     I got lots done yesterday with very little watering to do and not checking on Darel since Gingee was here.  Lots more weeding and still more to do.  I'm cutting back on vegetables next year.  I'm just to busy early in the season to weed.  And some vegetables have suffered from weed competition.  As mulch as i mulched this year there are still weeds.  Plants I covered with remay to protect them from the woodchucks have a lot more weeds than plants in the same row that didn't get covered.

     Except for the hummingbirds most of the time I can't tell the fledglings from their parents.  The summer is flying by too fast.
