.43 inches of rain overnight, foggy now, 49 degrees and calm.  Possible showers later this morning, clearing this afternoon with a strong west breeze, a high of 73, dropping to 44 tonight.  WNW winds and sun tomorrow with a high of 74 and a low of 45. Partly cloudy Tuesday with stiff south breeze, a high of 74 and a low of 50.  Thunderstorms Wednesday with brisk NW breezes, a high of 71 and a low of 41.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 49.  Partly cloudy With a stiff NW breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 49.  mostly cloudy Saturday with a brisk SE breeze, a high of 70 and a low of 49.  Showers Sunday with a strong south breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 56.  Showers very early Monday, overcast skies the rest of the day with a SW breeze, a high of 69 and a low of 49.  Mostly pleasant the rest of the week, warming up into the seventies toward the end of the week.  Lows in the fifties start the weekend of June 2ed and 3rd.  I'll plan to plant my peppers and tomatoes that weekend or the beginning of the next week.

     Darel had a good day yesterday, he is looking forward to Sunday School today.  I did not water the greenhouse last night so we can't stay for church.  The plants are dry from yesterday's sun and must have chance to soak up water before the sun comes out today.

    I was very busy yesterday and didn't get wood on the fire.  By the time i got the fire going and fixed supper I just had time to plant some beets, radishes and carrots before the rain.

    We have a weasel catching mice around the greenhouse.  He isn't very frightened by people. Tamaura picked up a dead mouse in the walkway, than saw the weasel and threw it back down.  it grabbed the mouse and ran off.  I breath a sigh of relief every time i check the pullets and they are still alive.  I have commented on how few mice we have had this year, that is good.  i hope there are enough so it doesn't move to the chicken house.When i close today I am going to clean out the kitchen garden pond so the birds have clean water.  Nicer to look at too!  Have a good day, Sally
