Darel had a pleasant day yesterday. In the evening we went to a class at church. Not only is he glad to get out but he is very much enjoying the class. Last night was on the importance of hymns in Methodist worship.
The Paris Farmer's Union's load came yesterday. Most semi drivers who don't want to drive in wheel the pallets into the end of the driveway, which is very hard ground. This one just set them by the side of the road! Big Andrew happened to come by. Thanks to his height it was easy for him to take the top couple layers of supplies off. Grandson Justin, Lexi's husband, came and put all the rest of the load away. He isn't short but still he had to stand on a couple empty pallets to get the top bags off one stack. My job today is to get prices up. If it comes in a bag for your garden we have it. Coast of Maine has a great web page about their products and how to videos. We have Miracle Gro too.
Lil Andrew worked on the back room, mostly cleaning up from firewood being in there, the mess from cleaning the stove pipe, and weeds that had moved in last fall. He did some repairs to keep the cold out, he[ll finish tonight , We'll move Plants out there tomorrow.
We'll start putting pansies out too even though we'll cover them Saturday night. If they had been out long enough to harden we wouldn't but 27 with a brisk north breeze would be too different from the greenhouse.
Have a good day, Sally
