Partly cloudy next Friday and Saturday with strong NW breezes, highs about 40 and lows about 26.  Snow to rain Sunday, the 18th, with a NNE breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 27.  Snow showers for the first week of spring with stiff NW breezes, highs in the upper thirties and lows 22-25.
Darel's pulse was high yesterday am but not so high but what we went to the church lunch.  He so enjoys getting out.  When the nurse came in the afternoon his pulse on the left side was very low, his blood pressure slightly high, but he felt fine and had a long nap.  He was ready for bed early and is still sleeping.
Walked out to the fires at eleven.  Took the tractor at two but could have walked if I had too.  i was glad to take the tractor out at five to drive across parts of a bare driveway and through the drifts.  Can't even guess how much snow we have so far thanks to the wind.
There is a red winged blackbird at my feeder.  He is glad to find a pile of sunflower seeds but not happy about this snow and wind.  he keeps huddling down in the feeder.  Like some of my neighbors he wishes he had stayed in the south longer.
Enjoy the day, remember march snows give way to the sun that is getting stronger by the day.  Sally
